Each facility director and staff member who works directly with children must have a valid first aid certificate that includes infant CPR training from a recognized program.

A facility director who agrees to administer medicine to a child must keep a written record of each dose, including all of the following: the date and time the dose was administered; the amount of the dose administered; and the child's name.

A facility director or, in the case of a family home child care program, a care provider who agrees to administer medicine to a child must do all of the following: keep a written record of each dose, including all of the following: the initials of the staff member or care provider who administered the dose, to be entered after the dose is administered.
